The Episcopal Church of St. John & St. James, Sullivan
The Episcopal Church of St. John and St. James in Sullivan has received a donation of a food pantry box that is a replica of the design of the church, with its A-frame roof and red doors.
Joe Jorgovan, a member of the Sullivan community, donated more than half of the materials, all of the labor costs, and installed the box on our church property.
Jorgovan said it is his gift to the church and the community.
Previously, small food donations were being placed in the little library. This new sturdy pantry will allow the community to be served on a larger scale.
A blessing of the box is being planned for a future date.
