Woven Together: The 186th Diocesan Convention & Ministry Fair
The 186th Diocesan Convention and Ministry Fair, Woven Together, is now complete, and what a powerful, Spirit-filled gathering it was. Across virtual and in-person spaces, the Diocese came together to celebrate our unity in Christ and the many threads each of us contributes to God’s tapestry of love. Through worship, learning, ministry sharing, and prayer, we were reminded once again how deeply we are bound to one another through life, walking with Jesus, and our call to Preserve.
Recordings of the convention, including the keynote address from Dr. Catherine Meeks, are now available on our website, YouTube, and Vimeo pages. You may also watch Bishop Deon’s stirring Convention Address, a message that called us to courage, connection, and renewed commitment to God’s work in our communities and in the world.
In addition, a full list of elected and appointed leaders from this year’s business sessions is available for review so that the diocese may continue to hold our leaders in prayer and support the shared ministry ahead.
Convention photos will be posted soon. Thousands of images were captured over the three-day gathering, and our team is diligently reviewing, organizing, and preparing them for public sharing. We ask for your patience as we work through this extensive collection. Beautiful moments are on the way.
Thank you to all who participated, prayed, volunteered, led workshops, or joined us online. The Spirit moved powerfully among us, and we stepped forward with gratitude for all we experienced together.
