The Diocese of Missouri has several colleges and universities within our region. We offer many opportunities for students to find a safe space for community and spiritual development during this important time of transition.

Rockwell House Episcopal Campus Ministry, St. Louis

At Rockwell House, we seek to follow together on Jesus's way of love. We grow our faith through friendship, food, and fun! Rockwell House serves as a home away from home for many students in our community. While we primarily serve the campuses of Washington University and St. Louis University, we welcome all area college students. Our ministry and many members are Episcopalian, but not everyone — if you’re interested, you’re welcome!

The Rev. Hope (Hopie) Jernegan serves as the Chaplain of Rockwell House.

Episcopal Lutheran Campus Ministry, Columbia

ELCM is a campus ministry serving students at the University of Missouri in Columbia (Mizzou). It is rooted in the Episcopal and ELCA Lutheran traditions and supported by both Calvary Episcopal Church and St. Andrew's Lutheran  Churches.

ELCM strives to create a supportive, welcoming, lively, curious, affirming, and joyful community as we live out the call to love one another and God with all that we are. We invite all–regardless of faith, religious affiliation, or identity–to join us in seeking justice, peace, and abundance.

The Rev. Josh Huber is the Episcopal Campus Chaplain.

Common Call Campus Ministry, Rolla

Common Call Campus Ministry serves the students of Missouri University of Science and Technology. This group is co-sponsored by Christ Episcopal Church in Rolla and First Presbyterian Church of Rolla.

The group meets every Thursday night for a home-cooked meal and discussion from The Wired Word, an adult Sunday school curriculum focused on current issues and how we respond to these issues as people of faith. Our group prides itself in its openness and welcoming nature. We have members from many walks of faith, and we support each other through our faith and our skepticism.

Lucy Behrendt is a member of Christ Church and the contact person for Common Call.

Episcopal Campus Ministry, Kirksville

Episcopal Campus Ministry (ECM) serves Truman State University and A.T. Still University in Kirksville. This is a ministry of Trinity Episcopal Church in Kirksville.

Alison Dunn is the peer minister for ECM.

Grace African Christians Connection, St. Louis

Although GACC doesn't have a formal campus ministry, this church plant serves African international students at St. Louis University, Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Missouri in St. Louis, and Webster University in Webster Groves.

GACC members who are students at these schools act as representatives and facilitate communications between students on campus and GACC.

The Rev. Mtipe Koggani is the priest at Grace African Christians Connection.

Trinity Church / Lindenwood University, St. Charles

Trinity Episcopal Church in St. Charles is literally connected to Lindenwood University by a shared property border. Trinity is developing a working relationship with university leaders to offer student programs. Trinity has hosted events for international students and they have an open invitation to any student who would like to walk their outdoor labyrinth.

Contact the Rev. Deacon Betty Bowen for more information on this growing ministry.
