Bishop Deon Johnson is grateful for the generosity of all those who donated to the Bishop's 2023 Annual Appeal.
This special fundraiser ran through the Lent and Easter seasons and raised $25,684 to support three vital ministries in the Diocese:
- The Chester Hines Racial Reconciliation Fund
- Children & Youth Ministries
- Episcopal City Mission
"I am so vary thankful for each and every person who has made these vital ministries in the Diocese a little bit stronger by giving to the 2023 Bishop's Appeal," said Bishop Johnson. "These funds help us make a difference in young people's lives through our children & youth ministries and through Episcopal City Mission. And the money allows us to continue our work toward racial reconciliation in our communities."
