Brotherhood of St. Andrew at the Church of St. Michael & St. George, Clayton

The Brotherhood of St. Andrew invites all to engage in discussion of the book Those Episkopols. The group's next meeting will be Thursday, June 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sverdrup Room at the Church of St. Michael & St. George, 6345 Wydown Blvd. in Clayton. (Please enter through the doors on the Ellenwood side.)

How much do you know about the Episcopal Church? This month we are looking at two questions:

  1. Why do Episcopalians read their prayers? The Book of Common Prayer protects us.
  2. Does God like all that ritual? Anglican worship creates an atmosphere in which the worshipper can experience God’s love.

For more information on these topics, please see chapters 5 and 6 in Those Episkopols. See also the questions on page 91.

You can also join in via Zoom. Now we have a conference microphone / loudspeaker we can all hear you and you can hear us – almost like being there in person but with the advantage of being in your favorite chair at home.
