Bishop Deon Johnson and the Gathering Space Task Force are planning a fun day of fellowship for the entire diocese.
Join in the fun with a diocesan family fall picnic at Camp MoVal!
We will have many activities for all ages. In the 7-acre lake, there will be canoeing, kayaking, paddle boards, and paddle boats. With 150 acres of beautiful forests, native prairie, and natural streams, you can hike or bring your mountain bike to ride on the trails. Maybe a sand volleyball game? Or sign up for camp staff-guided archery/slingshots and/or kid-friendly crafting. All this PLUS a wonderful buffet lunch of cold and hot food, beverages and snacks with options for special dietary needs. Best of all – finally seeing your Zoom pals and meeting new friends from around the Diocese of Missouri.
