The Episcopal Diocese of Missouri is pleased to announce the formation of a new ministry focused on the care of God’s creation.

The Rt. Rev. Deon K. Johnson has appointed the Rev. Deacon Kevin McGrane from Trinity Episcopal Church in St. James to lead our Creation Care Ministry. Six additional members from across the diocese will also serve on the team:

  • The Rev. Maria Evans – Christ Church, Rolla
  • Jill Fahrenholtz – Christ Church, Rolla
  • Lesley McIntire – Good Shepherd, Town & Country
  • The Rev. Michaelene Miller – Deaconess Anne House, North St. Louis
  • Dale Penrose – Emmanuel, Webster Groves
  • Parker Williams – Holy Cross, Poplar Bluff

These members will gather regularly to discuss topics of interest, gather and distribute resources, and plan events for the diocese throughout each year. (Learn more about all the members of this ministry.)

The Episcopal Church has made a commitment to practice loving formation, liberating advocacy, and life-giving conversation surrounding the care of creation. The Diocese of Missouri invites individuals, ministries, and congregations to join our efforts through our Creation Care Ministry.

Information, resources, and events can be found at diocesemo.org/creation-care. Please watch our diocesan communications for news and updates in the life of our diocese. For more information, please contact the Rev. Kevin McGrane.
