Join Bishop Amy Dafler Meaux of the Diocese of West Missouri and Bishop Deon Johnson of the Diocese of Missouri for a transformative pilgrimage to the Holy Land, May 18–29, 2027.
Walking in the footsteps of Jesus offers an opportunity to encounter Scripture, history, and faith in a profound and deeply personal way. Together, pilgrims from our two dioceses will journey through the lands that have shaped our Christian story, experiencing sacred places, learning from the people and communities who call the Holy Land home, and making space for prayer, reflection, fellowship, and spiritual renewal.
This pilgrimage is more than a sightseeing tour. It is an invitation to deepen our understanding of the biblical story, encounter the complexities of the Holy Land today, and experience the places of our faith alongside fellow Episcopalians from across Missouri.
Bishop Amy Dafler Meaux and Bishop Deon Johnson will accompany the group throughout this shared journey, with Qumri Pilgrimages helping to guide and facilitate the experience.

Dates: May 18–29, 2027
Cost: $6,000 per person
Accommodations: Double occupancy
Space for this pilgrimage is limited. Each diocese has 14 spots available, for a total of 28 pilgrims. Those interested in participating are encouraged to learn more and reserve their place early.

Important Registration & Payment Deadlines
November 1, 2026 — Deposit Due
A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is required to reserve your spot on the pilgrimage.
Because participation is limited to only 14 pilgrims from each diocese, registration and payment of the deposit are necessary to secure your place.
Register and Pay Your $1,000 Deposit
March 1, 2027 - Final Payment Due
The remaining $5,000 balance is due by March 1, 2027. A separate registration and payment link will be provided for the final balance.

Pilgrimage invites us to step away from the familiar and encounter our faith in new ways—to pray where generations of Christians have prayed, to walk through places we have encountered in Scripture, and to listen to the stories of those who live and worship in the Holy Land today.
