Missouri is one of many states considering legislation that would restrict medical treatment to transgender youth. The Episcopal Diocese of Missouri believes in the dignity of all identities and encourages our lawmakers to do the same.

Senate Bill 843 would take away gender affirming care from trans kids in our state and put families who provide that care at risk of having their children taken away from them under child abuse and medical professionals at risk of losing their licenses.

We encourage our members to reach out to their state senators and let them know you do not support this legislation.
