Care & Counseling
The Diocese of Missouri has teamed up with Care and Counseling to provide pastoral care and counseling to diocesan clergy, employees and their families. Care and Counseling is a center staffed by ordained and non-ordained pastoral care consultants and pastoral counselors. The Pastoral Care and Employee Assistance Program is meant to address family, marital and relationship problems at home and at work. Consultation is also offered to clergy concerned about an individual or an issue within a church setting.
The Diocese will pay for up to five sessions through this program. To access your benefits simply call Care and Counseling at 314-878-4340 and ask for the Episcopal Diocese Pastoral Care and Employee Assistance Coordinator.
CIGNA Behavioral Health
Clergy and lay members, and their covered dependents, enrolled in a Church Medical Trust plan through the Diocese have access to EAP benefits through Cigna Behavioral Health. Assistance is available for work, life, and family issues. EAP services are free, confidential and cover unlimited telephonic consultations and up to 10 face-to-face counseling sessions per issue.
